Arnautovic Puts Pen To Paper
Stoke City have concluded one of their last transfers of the summer window with the capture of Werder Bremen winger-come-striker, Marko Arnautovic on a 4 year deal.
Manager Mark Hughes added Arnautovic as his fourth summer signing, which may have taken the edge from the failed capture of Junior Hoillet. In a fairly odd move, Stoke dragged themselves kicking and screaming into the 21st century with the announcement on their Facebook page
Stoke City are delighted to sign Austria international winger Marko Arnautovic from German side Werder Bremen.
Arnautovic, who some say has a point to prove after series of well documented disciplinary issues, so much so it’s reported that the player was nicknamed ‘Arrogantovic’ by Bremen fans.
Marko is seen by some fans as maybe underwhelming, but a necessity to address the attacking options of a Potters side, who in most quarters are being lauded for their change in playing style, but whose goals have come from a Tony Pulis esque array of corners, throw-ins and free-kicks.
It’s certainly not going to be dull as a Potters fan this season!
